The show propelled the FX Network, securing them a best drama and a best supporting actress Golden Globe nomination. American Horror Story delivered another twisted episode to wrap up the first season as one of the best new drama shows on television.

Episode 12 begins nine months prior to moving out West. The Harmon family relocates to Los Angeles. Eventually, the haunted house sucks the life out of Ben, Vivian, and Violent. They never stand a chance to survive. Twisted events occur while Ben attempts to convince Vivian to accept his plea to rekindle their lost flame.

Ben picks up his newborn son at Constance's home. He comes back home after attending Vivian's funeral. Constance tells Ben he needs to open his eyes and see the truth about the home. "You are paying for your sins Dr. Harmon." Constance said. Ben responds back, telling Constance to lock her door and hope that he doesn't come back. Vivian and Moira talk about Ben while in their ghost state. It is an interesting aspect to hear two friendly ghosts having an intelligent conversation.

Ben prepares to commit suicide. He is ready to end his misery. Everything he loved is now gone. After drinking hard liquor, Ben hesitates to shoot himself. Vivian interrupts Ben's suicide attempt. Violet appears to crack a few jokes. Ben knocks himself for not seeing the classic signs of his daughter's death.

Vivian tells Ben he must be strong to take care of their son. While kissing Vivian, Ben's out of body experience ends. He retrieves his son upstairs, trying to leave the haunted home. However, Hayden and the deceased robbers hang Ben with a rope. The first season is now complete with the death of the Harmon family. The haunted home murders off every living occupant, trapping their souls.

A new Hispanic family moves into the home. They question the reason the home is so cheap. The real estate shares the tragic news of the husband and wife death. The couple is excited about purchasing the home. However, their son is a skater who doesn't believe in ghosts.

The couple begin to make out in the kitchen. The hot wife reveals her sexy cleavage tucked into a purple bra. Ben and Vivian watch the couple. They know that something needs to be done to prevent the couple from having a baby in the evil home.

The first night scares the crap out of the family. The same sequence recycles again. The rubber man appears in the bedroom to attack the wife Stacy and the husband Miguel walks down to the kitchen to hold his hands over an open flame.

Out of jealousy, Tate attempts to kill the teenage boy Gabe. The young hot Moira reappears again to guide Miguel into a private room where the Black Dhalia is sliced in half on a table. Hence, the family experiences the scare of their life. In result, they race out of the home to escape the ghosts.

The haunted home is back on the market again. We know the realtor will have a hard time selling the home. She is forever connected to the haunted home. It is her living nightmare to keep selling the home over and over again. We realize the evil curse traps the deceased.

Ben and Tate have a serious discussion as two ghosts. Tate finally admits to his psychotic mistakes that leave 15 high school student dead, two male partners dead, and his role in raping Vivian. Vivian and Ben adjust to their newly dead life. They are trapped in the haunted home as spirits, joining their daughter Violet in the afterlife.

The Harmon's celebrate their first Christmas as dead spirits. They seem to smile for the first time in 12 weeks. Three years later, Constance shares the good news with her hair stylist, that she is a new mother. There is a surprise twist at the end of the show. Her grandson is a murderer who butchers his babysitter. His bloody hand print is smothered all over the white rocking chair. He has a sinister glare on his face. The episode ends with an eerie whistle.

American Horror Story is a major hit. The metaphysical astral horror show has millions of viewers guessing who will die next, what surprise event is next, and what the future holds for the ghost occupants in the haunted home. The dead American Dream is the new American Horror Story

FX's American Horror Story is a big hit. Have we ever heard of a show killing off the main characters? Who will survive the American Horror Story? It feels as if the show is conveying that our American Dream is dead. We the American people must accept the horror of the real world - the cheating, deception, and financial woes plaguing our living existence. We live a live exactly like the American Horror Story. The American Horror Story conveys the dead American Dream.

The American Horror Story portrays the American dream as an unattainable feat. The American people who want to reach their dreams must can do so in the afterlife. We must fight hard to accomplish our dreams; however, the rigorous demands of living reality take a toll on both the human mind and physical body. The Occupy Wall Street Movement demonstrates people are trying to survive the American Horror Story.

In the American Horror Story, the Harmon family purchased the haunted home at a bargain price. People make decisions based on price instead of investigating the history. There are many homes and cars which require expensive repairs. The main reason the Harmon family relocated is because of Ben's infidelity. Vivien gives Ben another chance to redeem himself. For the most part, Vivien holds out on sex to better understand Ben's unfaithful tendencies after she has a miscarriage.

The daughter Violent is intelligent but a dark person who slices her forearms with a razor blade. She is depressed about having to move across the country, away from the only life she knows. Thus, the Harmon family are trapped in the haunted home because their fortune is invested in the home. The Harmon family is exposed to the strangest events. Therefore, the American Dream quickly turns into an American Horror Story.

We recently discovered that Violet overdosed. Her rotting corpse is covered with a swarm of flies. Tate attempted to recreate a Romeo & Juliet suicide to avoid sharing the dark news with Violet. He experienced a bad childhood because his mother claimed his father left him. The truth is that his mother killed his father after discovering his infidelity with Moira. Addy died last month's Halloween episode after a hit and run accident. Most people know that hit and run car accidents are common in Los Angeles. Larry murdered Hayden several episodes ago to help Ben escape her neediness and pregnancy.

In result, Hayden murders Travis after experiencing uncontrollable rage in light of his passivity. Travis refuses to believe he is Constance's slave. She treats him like he is dog crap. We know Constance mutilated her Husband and fed him to the dogs. Jayden is unable cope with Vivien living a life which she considers her American Dream. She wants to have a baby. Now Jayden's afterlife is stuck in a recurring cycle chasing after a man that she assumes loved her.

Nonetheless, episode 11 revealed that Vivien died after giving birth to the twins. Ben and Constance are the only remaining living people. If you want to count Luke and Larry, then there are four living main characters. Larry is responsible for his wife murdering his kids and herself. Luke is a divorced security guard who can never have children. The rest of the main cast are dead.

The American Horror Story resembled the failed American Dream. Will we see new cast members? The American Horror Story is a great show, though it is rather depressing to see a family end up in The Astral Hell. The Astral Hell is one of the seven subplanes of the astral plane. People who are the worst living humans end up in spending their entire afterlife in an eternal dungeon reliving their darkest moments. A majority of the deceased characters are unaware that they're dead. But for the most part, they soon realize their doomed fate until their souls are set free.

In the next season, we will probably see more of the back-story that transformed the home into a living Hell. The FX show conveys to viewers the truth about the dead American Dream. No matter what effort you put forth, you will never accomplish your dreams. Constance keeps telling Travis he will never accomplish his Hollywood dream. She uses her failed dream to crush the American Dream. We constantly hear Constance complain of her Hollywood dream. The Black Dhalia never accomplishes her  Hollywood dream until her murder is reported on the national news.

The American Horror Story communicates to viewers that living the American Horror Story is the new American Dream. It is our fate to live a life of misery. Our doom is encoded in our American DNA. We are destined to suffer with many bills. We are held hostage to money and never receive a fair break even though we have more talent than most people. Bad people are rewarded with the best opportunities, whereas good people are left behind to suffer. As working class Americans, we are living the American Horror Story. Our only hope is to accept life and be thankful. In essence, the dead American Dream is the new American Horror Story.
